Easy & Tasty Savoie’s® Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 lb Savoie’s® Smoked Sausage cut into bite-size pieces
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
- 1 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
- 1 10 ½ oz can beef broth double strength
- 1 11⅛ oz can condensed tomato soup
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- ½ teaspoon basil
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups uncooked converted or instant rice
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a medium skillet over high heat, combine sausage, onion and bell pepper; cook 10 minutes, stirring to prevent sticking.
- Add the broth and cook 10 minutes, stirring constantly.
- Add tomato soup, oregano, basil and salt; stir to mix.
- Add uncooked converted or instant rice to a 6x6x2 inch baking dish and pour the sausage mixture over the rice.
- Stir and then cover with foil.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until rice is tender.
