Savoie's Sausage and Food products, Inc. became one of eight to receive the US Department of Labor Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program (SHARP Award).

"It pays to have good workers who watch each other", says company owner Eula Savoie.

State Secretary for the Department of Labor, Garey Forster presented the SHARP - Reward to company representatives, as he commended workers and managers for their hard work.

EULA SAVOIE NAMED LOUISIANA'S ENTREPRENEUR OF THE YEAR

Eula M. Savoie, president of Savoie's Sausage and Food products, Inc., was named the Louisiana - Mississippi 2001 Entrepreneur of the Year.

This prestigious award is presented annually to an individual who illustrates the courage, imagination and perseverance it takes to pursue the entrepreneurial dream.

The contest is sponsored nationally by Ernest and Young LLP. Hibernia National Bank co-sponsored the regional competition.

SAVOIE'S FAVORITE AT "LE FESTIVAL INTERNATIONAL DE LOUISIANE"

The "Bistro Savoie's" was this year's center point at the 15th Festival International de Louisiane in down town Lafayette.

The newest food venue of the Festival. A side walk café "Le Bistro Savoie's" features Savoie's foods, prepared by "Randol's Restaurant and Dancehall" of Lafayette.

"Le Bistro Savoie's" was a place to meet, to talk, to exchange ideas, and also enjoy music along with exquisite food.
